Cycle hire

A la Petite Reine hires bikes that are perfectly maintained and especially suitable for both cycle rides and riding through the forest.

Each bike is adjusted to suit the hirer, with the following equipment available on request:

• anti-theft lock
• puncture repair kit
• helmet
• baby carrier

Insurance

A la Petite Reine is covered by third party liabilty insurance. However, this insurance does not cover either cancellation or third party insurance by the hirer. Nor does the insurance cover the theft of hired cycles. Should the hired bicycle be lost for any reason, then the customer who has hired the equipment from A la Petite Reine is liable for the replacement value.

Deposit

Each bicycle hire, regardless of the duration, is subject to the hirer making a deposit in one of the three forms of his choice:

• Deposit of a passport or driving licence (a national identity card is not acceptable). This will be returned at the end of the hire period.
• Imprint of a credit/debit card such as VISA or Mastercard. The cancelled slip will be returned at the end of the hire period.
• Deposit in cash of 300€, for which a receipt will be issued. This will be returned at the end of the hire period.

Breakdown and accident

In the case of breakdown and/or accident, the return of the cycle to the A la Petite Reine shop from which it was hired remains the responsibility of the hirer.
